Pentlands selection
After a very nervous and tense selection meeting last night, and an extremely close result, I'm delighted to report that I was selected as the Labour candidate for the Pentlands seat for next year's Scottish Parliament elections. I'm extremely chuffed and quite humbled that so many folk have supported me throughout and have faith in my ability to run a good campaign and hopefully deliver a significant victory next May. Looking forward to the campaign ahead and hoping to have a bit of fun along the way.

Well done Ricky, I was at meeting and I think you done great and it's your vision towards the future that nicked it for you. I really hope you win next may. You will have my full support at the polls and on the ground. I hope you start a pledge support for Ricky page online, facebook etc. Plenty will want to help get you elected and get the Tories out for good. Best wishes and good luck. RH
RH, many thanks for your message and your support, like the facebook idea, just returned from Sarah Boyack's campaign launch (which went well) and someone there also suggested it. There's good spirit in the Party just now, I think people are motivated by what's happening at a local and national level and its going to be a good campaign. Look forward to working with you.
Well done Ricky and many thanks for your support of the PIPER project over the past few years.
Oh and by the way have you declared an interest with the Council that you're a Jambo!

Many thanks, I hope PIPER continues to enjoy success, its message is certainly worthwhile.
Of course I've declared my allegiance, its nothing to be ashamed of is it :o) ????
